Job Overview:

The Cash Management Associate is an integral part of the Cash Management team that contributes to new sales targets and the achievement of portfolio growth objectives. This position supports the Cash Management Advisor and Cash Management Manager in pre-call research, proposal development, and preparation of post-sale client documentation and interim updates to the documentation. Serves as a liaison between the Client, TM Advisor, TM Manager and eBanking team to ensure a satisfactory implementation experience. Responsible for having a solid knowledge of the portfolio to successfully analyze the decisions made for the client. May conduct joint sales calls with Cash Management Advisor or Cash Management Manager.

Essential job functions:

  • Provide the Cash Management Advisor and Cash Management Manager with pre-call and supervised research, develop proposals and quotes, and prepare post-sale client documentation
  • Conducts occasional meetings with the assistance of the Cash Management Advisor or Cash Management Manager, including conducting relationship reviews, product demonstrations, product trainings, and analyzing customer statements in perspective for the proposals.
  • Serve as a liaison between the client, the TM team and the eBanking team to ensure a satisfactory implementation experience.
  • Understand the client’s cash management structure and objectives
  • May conduct joint calls with Cash Management Advisor or Cash Management Manager
  • Responsible for following up on each implementation request to keep progress on track within the client’s time frame. In addition to ensuring once the implementation is complete, the client is billed accurately
  • Prepare product agreements, obtain legal documentation and proactively track and obtain agreements in progress
  • Interview customers by telephone to obtain information necessary for the preparation of product contracts and data sheets
  • Create and manage implementation plans for large and complex clients.
  • Participate in maintaining procedures for forms and agreements.
  • Knowledge of banking and/or cash management products and services
  • Facilitate all product trainings with the Client & eBanking team for new clients and new users, either by phone or in person, as required
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within the portfolio
  • Perform other assigned duties and tasks.

  • 2+ years of experience with cash management products, banking products, customer service or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet the requirements.
  • 2+ years In-depth knowledge of banking and treasury products and services, including the ability to explain their benefits to customers and prospects
  • Strong interest in working with experienced treasury partners to recognize a client’s treasury needs and apply appropriate banking solutions
  • 2+ years of experience demonstrating and training customers on products
  • Strong business, analytical and quantitative skills to determine customer needs.

Physical requirements: In performing the duties of this position, the employee is in regular communication, is called upon to use various tools or objects and has the mobility necessary to move around the office. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include near vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Type of position/expected working hours: This is a full-time position that regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work.

Travel: Travel is primarily local during the working day, although some travel outside the region may be expected

Training and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in cash management products and services
  • Extensive knowledge of banking products and services
  • Some favorite new account acquaintances
  • Must have basic computer skills, including: Microsoft Office suite (email and Outlook calendar), Word, Excel and Internet.
